Gothic writing in general lends itself enthusiastically to majuscule decorated letters so I hope you'll have fun with those. Important initials can have little gold boxes painted round them, as well as much other ornament. The latter fact should also tell you that gothic majuscules work very well in bright colour: traditionally, vermilion, blue or green.
